Chia Pudding with Josty Linseed Oil

This chia pudding with fresh berries and Josty Linseed Oil is not only delicious, but also a healthy meal that is rich in fiber, protein and omega-3 fatty acids. Enjoy this nutritious treat as an energizing start to the day or as a refreshing Snack for in between meals.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 1 cup milk (cow's milk, almond milk or another milk alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries (e.g. strawberries, raspberries, blueberries)
  • 1 teaspoon Josty linseed oil

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, mix the chia seeds and milk well.
  2. Add the honey or maple syrup and stir well again.
  3. Stir in the Josty linseed oil.
  4. Cover the bowl and let the chia pudding rest in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or overnight until it sets.
  5. Before serving, stir the pudding well again to achieve an even consistency.
  6. Pour the chia pudding into glasses or bowls and garnish with fresh berries.
  7. Garnish with additional toppings such as chopped nuts or cocoa nibs and serve as desired.
